A long twitter post from @MattPRD: "LLMs are intelligence as a service... an intelligence that represents the culmination of human knowledge and culture ...[is] a function call away..."
Human beings are Swiss Army knives compared to software, which are task-focused tools. While LLMs are the first step on from that, they still "can’t replace an entire person... I do a LOT of things, and so does every other person."
Hence "1000x one part of yourself... identify specific skills ... that an AI could execute at a comparable or better level... prioritize them by the impact" of implementing those skills "1,000x faster or at 1,000x volume".
For @MattPRD's business those skills fall into the areas of Customer Success ("Implementing our product automatically for our customers"), project management, marketing, support & sales.
