Users with extensive experience at a task don't necessarily need a calculator or quiz to help them. Instead, conversion, prediction, and recommendation calculators can be used to help inexperienced users who feel lost and are looking for guidance they can trust.
These tools can help build a mental model about a problem space in a casual, exploratory way. For example, recommendation calculators are used to get advice, especially when users are feeling stuck and don’t know what options would best meet their needs.
