The only content that most (but not all) detectors performed well was in informative content: "Sometimes, AI writing is so bland it’s obvious. Especially info-content... if you’re a human writing content like this ... AI detection will probably think you’re AI, too", and so will everyone else. In brief, AI:

  • "sees formulaic info-content as AI
  • sees human writing with personal detail as human...
  • fails is detecting AI fiction and poetry"

Of course, it got that good through theft. And everyone's suing.
