In early 2022 I was brought on by the newly established Knowledge Team of the EC's PMO - the PayMaster's office, who pay the salaries, run the EC's health insurance, calculate mission expenses, etc.
I don't think they'd mind being described as "not the most neophilic part of the European Commission" ;), so the challenge posed by migrating to M365 is pretty huge.
As of Spring 2023 I had developed the overall internal information architecture, pilot-tested early SPO prototypes, helped the KM team set up its own infrastructure, provided training material, launched the taxonomy development process, cocreated the PMO KnowledgeBase, run a legacy content audit (SP-Premises, Wikis, U: drives, etc.) and started mapping What Goes Where. The PMO has been identified by DIGIT (the EC's IT dept) as an example to follow for knowledge management in M365.
