WSocial's constitution

WSocial's constitution

my notes ( ? )

The LinkedIn blogpostis actually quicker to read, but the actual constitution is a nice use of scrollytelling.

Of particular note is the migration tool, announced a little earlier, as that does remove one of the major red flags for me (they had assured me it would happen, but they've lied before).

Also new: "a verified-only feed, watch live broadcasts through W Live on European infrastructure with chat restricted to verified humans" - they did the latter using streamplace for the State of the EU by the EC President.

They also (quietly) come clean about storing users' ID papers: "Once verified, the ID document is deleted and W Social never sees it", in stark contrast to their PR manager at their launch party in Brussels, who assured me that "your documents never leave your device".
